What a wild first period on Halloween in Olds last night.

The visiting Okotoks Oilers came from behind for the 4-3 win over the Grizzlys.

The Grizzly's bit first scoring a pair of goals within the opening 10 minutes before the Oilers Jack Silverberg replied with a slapshot goal on the power play. The one goal gap would be short lived as Olds responded within another goal just 30 seconds later to take a 3-1 lead.

Olds' third goal also lead to a goalie change for the Oilers as they pulled starter Christian Green and replaced him with Alex Scheiwiller who was rock solid for the Oilers stopping all 19 shots he faced for the rest of the game.  And before the first period was over Brett Huxley would add another power play goal to end the first period with a 3-2 score in favour of the Grizzlys.

The Oilers affiliate forward Brayden Gourley would score his first AJHL in the second period to tie it up and then Jackson Rowland would score the eventual game winning goal to end the second period with a 4-3 lead which would stand.

The Oil now face off against two tough teams this weekend, Spruce Grove on Saturday and Bonnyville on Sunday.
