The Okotoks Oilers tinkled the back of the twine six times Friday night as they tamed the Lloydminster Bobcats 6-3.

Sam Huck scored a pair along with adding an assist for three points on the night. Christian Green made 13 saves in the win for the Oilers netminder.

It was the Bobcats that came out flying scoring just 21 seconds into the game however Huck's pass to Jackson Rowland lead to an Oilers equalizer a little over two minutes later.  Huck also scored the go-ahead goal later in the first and would add another, this time on the power play as the lead see-sawed back and forth with the teams skating to the first intermission knotted up at three a piece.

The Oilers scored the game-winning goal in the final minute of the second period and would add two more in the third for the 6-3 win. The Oilers other goals came from Brett Wilson, Jack Silverberg and Jagger Tapper.

The Oilers will look to scare up another home win with a Sunday matinee start time of 4:15 p.m.

It's their final home game before Halloween with candy on hand and prizes for best dressed. And all kids dressed up get in free
