The Okotoks Oilers had a rough three-game road trip up north over the weekend.

They managed one win out of the three games with their first loss coming on Friday night in Bonnyville.

The Pontiacs beat them 7-4 even though the Oilers got off to a two-nothing lead early in the first period, but they were unable to slowdown the Pontiacs comeback which also included an empty netter.

The Oilers regrouped for a pair of games in Lloydminster on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.

While the Oil weren't able to muster up a win on Saturday as they lost 5-3 to the Bobcats, they were able to claw out a win on Sunday.

The Oilers beat the Bobcats 7-6 for the win with Christian Green stopping 28 of the 34 shots on net for the win.

The Oilers record is now 13-9-0-1, good for sixth place in the AJHL.

They now get set for a home game tonight, Tuesday Nov. 14, versus the Calgary Canucks.  Puck drops at 7 o'clock.
