Housing inventory remains amongst the lowest in over 20 years in Okotoks.

According to the Calgary Real Estate Board's September report, 52 homes were sold last month with 69 new listings.

Still, conditions remain relatively tight, especially for semidetached, row and apartment-style properties. 

As of September, the unadjusted benchmark price was $580,200, nearly nine per cent higher than last year.

The benchmark price for a detached home in Okotoks is $648,600 while in High River it's $577,300.

In High River the total average benchmark was $443,600.

There were 35 home sales in September and 29 new listings.
