The Okotoks Oilers were shutout on Tuesday night in Drumheller.

Entering the Dragons lair with a 5-2 record the Oilers lost 2-0 with one of the goals scored on an empty net.

The Oilers just couldn't score on the Dragons as they were backstopped by a Jamieson Kane 27 save shutout.

It really was a game of dueling goalies.

Oilers rookie goaltender Christian Green also had a solid game stopping 30 shots in the contest.

The Oilers are only two points away from the top spot in the league with 10 points.

Both teams go head-to-head this Friday night in Okotoks at the Centennial Arena.

It'll be the Oilers first home game in two weeks and fans can still get tickets.

Game time is 7:00 p.m.
