Today is the 11th annual Together We Can Make a Difference Radiothon from the Eagle 100.9 and the Sheep River Health Trust.

From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., they aim to raise $80,000 to support 10 local health and wellness organizations and initiatives.

That includes Inclusion Foothills, KidSport Okotoks, the Orenda Community Youth and Family Society, the Solace Grief Support Society, Helping Families Handle Cancer, and more.

Be sure to check back regularly on the amount raised so far.

Live Total: $76,035 (as of 6 p.m.)

The event has raised close to $600,000 in the past number of years.

The event is broadcast live from the Eagle’s studio at 22 Elizabeth Street and doubles as a block party with hourly prizes, vendors, and food trucks.

There are a few ways to donate, including in person, over the phone, and online.
