Once again, Mother Nature is bringing a chill to the air to many residents of Alberta.

Environment Canada has issued a frost advisory stretching from as far north as Swan Hills and south to Claresholm.

The affected areas include Okotoks, High River, Cayley, Diamond Valley, Aldersyde, Longview, Eden Valley, Priddis, Stavely, and Nanton.

Temperatures are forecast to drop to zero overnight with a possibility of showers or thunderstorms.

Frost advisories are issued when temperatures are expected to reach the freezing mark during the growing season, leading to potential damage and destruction to plants and crops.

Because temperatures are expected to drop, Environment Canada is asking people to cover up or bring inside any sensitive plants that could be damaged due to the frost.

The Radiothon is today.
