Okotoks' Pride crosswalk sees another incidence of vandalism

Okotoks' Pride crosswalk has been vandalized again.

On Thursday morning (May 30), it was discovered that the crosswalk had been covered in blue paint.

Town crews quickly removed the paint from the crossing, though remnants of the paint can still be seen in the vicinity.

This is the second instance of vandalism, with the first having occurred in June of 2023.

The Pride crosswalk was first established in June of 2021.

The crosswalk has been cleaned, though remnants of blue paint can be seen in the vicinity.
