A man from Lethbridge is wanted by RCMP after a report of shots fired in the community of Brocket.

On July 3, officers with Piikani Nation RCMP were called to the area and later found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to his foot.

Following their investigation, officers identified a suspect in the incident: Mitchel Brandon, 32, of Lethbridge. A warrant has been issued for his arrest on several charges including aggravated assault, careless use of a firearm, possessing a firearm while unauthorized and driving while prohibited.

Police believe that Brandon was driving a pickup truck, believed to be a 1996 white Chevrolet Suburban K2500, with an Alberta licence plate CAC-453.

Brandon was last seen dressed in all black with a Helly Hansen jacket and a black Chicago Bulls hat.
