The Carstar Okotoks Bisons herded the Medicine Hat Cubs into submission Tuesday night.

It was a makeup game from earlier this month when their game that was postponed due to the extreme cold.

Lucas Watkins netted a pair and added an assist for a three-point night as they beat the Cubs 7-4.

Grady Nicholas backstopped the team, stopping 18 of the 22 shots he faced as the Bisons reclaim their number-one standing in the HJHL.

The Herd now sport a record of 29-3 for 58 points, which is two more points than the Sylvan Lake Wranglers of the North division.

The Bisons now prepare to host a pair of games this weekend.
