The Carstar Okotoks Bisons, affectionately known as the Herd, won both their home games again on the weekend.

The HJHL-leading Bisons dropped the Medicine Hat Cubs 4-1 on Friday night at the Murray arena and then cleaned house on Saturday against the Airdrie Thunder. They shut them out 6-0 with Grady Nicholas stopping all 20 shots for the shutout.

And the High River Brewing Co. Flyers split their weekend with both games featuring 8-4 scores. The Flyers lost 8-4 to Strathmore on Friday night in front of a High River crowd and then they won 8-4 against the Mountain View Colts in Didsbury on Saturday night. The Flyers are fighting for the final playoff spot in the south division.

The regular season is winding down with only three more weekends left before playoffs start.
