Foothills RCMP are looking for information after cow carcasses were dumped south of Bragg Creek.

On October 17, they responded to reports of two carcasses dumped in the McLean Creek area.

They located them and identified them as one red and one black cow.

Both cows had livestock brands on their left shoulder, though RCMP say the brands had been tampered with prior to the disposal.

They're looking for information on the incident as well as the ownership of the livestock.

Anyone with information can contact the RCMP Livestock Investigations Unit at (403) 701-1462. Tips can also be submitted anonymously via Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), online at www.P3Tips.com or by using the “P3 Tips” app available through the Apple App or Google Play Store.
