The 2006 Mustang GT raffle fundraiser for River City Classics and Eamon's Garage Historical Society was their biggest yet.

After tireless promotion with Peter Hampton and others with the society and River City Classics they sold out all 2,500 tickets this year.

And the big payoff came when the winner of this years car arrived to pick it up under a beautiful, sunny sky on Saturday Oct. 1.

Bev Urbanoski was the lucky winner of the Mustang convertible along with the story on how lucky she really was.

In July while visiting Seasons Retirement home in High River during a car show she borrowed $10 from her daughter Kendra Strube so she could buy one of the $20 tickets.

Well, number 0760 was drawn by barrel during the 1st annual Brian Chipchase Sr. Memorial Show and Shine and Bev's been waiting since then to pick it up.

She was thrilled with her win as was the rest of her family.

The value of the car was approximately $15,000 and the funds raised will go back to the society as Eamon's Garage has expansion plans in the future and appreciates everyone's support.
