Sam Huck was the star of the weekend for the Okotoks Oilers.

He scored both overtime goals in their home-and-home series with the Blackfalds Bulldogs.

Game one was in Blackfalds on Friday night with the Oilers coming away with a 4-3 overtime win.

Then game two was in Okotoks at the Centennial Arena as the hometown fans were in for another repeat performance.

This time the final score was 5-4 in favour of the Oilers.  The four points the team picked up now has them tied for fourth place in the AJHL.

Sam Huck ended up with 3 goals and 2 assists over the two games and with many regulars out of the lineup, the wins were hard-fought and well-earned.

Netminder Alexander Schweiller stopped 26 of the 29 shots faced in Friday's game and then stopped 28 of the 32 shots on Saturday to pick up a pair of wins.

The Oilers now hop on the bus and head into Calgary to take on the Canucks tonight, (Monday, Nov. 20,) their third game in four nights.
