The Okotoks Oilers recently made some changes to their lineup.

Last week they traded defenceman Jamie Weller to the Lloydminster Bobcats in exchange for a player to be named later, as well as future considerations.

The AJHL veterans played 107 games over the last three seasons with the Oilers recording 25 points.

And the Oilers acquired former Medicine Hat Tiger captain Owen MacNeil. The 20-year-old recorded 23 points over 66 games last season. He also brings a lot of experience to the club.  He's suited up for 197 regular season games in the AJHL as well as another four playoff games.

You can expect them in the lineup for this weekend's home games.

The Oilers welcome the Whitecourt Wolverines to the Centennial Arena this Friday the 13th with the always-tough Brooks Bandits facing off on Saturday night.

This is the last of a four-game home stand with the Oilers hitting the road next weekend.
