The High River Brewing Co. Flyers lace up the skates for a pair of games this weekend.

They're looking for another hometown win for the fans tonight at 8 when they host the Mountainview Colts.

It's the first matchup for both teams this season.  Then the Flyers travel to Ponoka to take on the Stampeders. The last time they met the Flyers hammered them 17-1.

And the Carstar Okotoks Bisons also hit the ice this weekend, but they only have one game lined up Saturday and that's against the Sylvan Lake Wranglers.  It's a road game too with a puck drop of 8 p.m.  And it's a battle for first place in the HJHL as the Wranglers are the top team in the North division while the Bisons are tied for the top spot in the South division.
