The BCHL Okotoks Oilers are getting set to host their first home game since joining the British Columbia Hockey League.

The Oil welcome the Spruce Grove Saints to the Centennial arena tonight for a 7 o'clock start time.

The Oilers are 0-2 since joining the league along with four other former AJHL teams: the Spruce Grove Saints, the Brooks Bandits, the Sherwood Park Crusaders and the Blackfalds Bulldogs.

Their last two games were close with the Oilers losing 4-3 to Blackfalds last week along with a nail-biting 5-4 loss against the Brooks Bandits on Tuesday.

They've also got another home game lined up for Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 11:00 a.m. It's their annual game where they invite local schools to come down and watch.

The team is working on a new website and until then you can get tickets through this link and follow them on Facebook for more.
