The Okotoks Oilers are now 0-and-2 in the BC Hockey League.

The Bandits got by the Oilers 5-4 Tuesday afternoon in Brooks.

The teams were tied at three going into the third period, but Brooks got a pair of goals early on to go ahead 5-3.

Okotoks got a goal from Kade Turner with 1:17 left, with the goalie pulled, to make it close, but couldn't get the equalizer to make the final 5-4.

Other goal scorers for Okotoks were Conner Gourley, Hunter Sawka and Thomas Matte

Christian Green faced 29 shots in the Okotoks net.

The Spruce Grove Saints visit the Centennial Arena for the Oilers first home game in the BCHL Friday night at 7:00.
