Okotoks Native and former Okotoks Dawg Jordan Procyshen will play in his first ever All-Star game in his first full professional season Tuesday night and he's not just a reserve on the roster—he's starting.

The rookie catcher for the Boston Red Sox Single-A affiliate Greenville Drive will be behind home plate for the first pitch of the South Atlantic League All-star game in Asheville, North Carolina.

The 23 year old Prochyshen is currently batting .285 with two home runs and 28 RBIs in 51 games.

Game time is set for 5:30 local time.
