An ATV crash in the Crowsnest Pass on Sunday has claimed the life a 33 year old man from Okotoks.

Investigation continues into a side-by-side ATV crash on Sunday that claimed the life of an Okotoks man.

According to police, an ATV heading southbound in the Crowsnest Pass came off the trail then rolled several times down a steep embankment.

The vehicle was carrying four passengers, including a two year old boy who was taken to the Children's Hospital by ambulance where he's being treated for injuries.

Two of the other passengers were treated on scene.

The 33-year-old Okotoks man had to be airlifted to hospital by STARS where he later passed away due to his injuries.

Crowsnest Pass RCMP say alcohol is not a factor in the incident.
