Two young Okotokians are cycling to fight kids' cancer again this year.
Brothers Kolten and Keegan, ages 6 and 4, take part in the Great Cycle Challenge every year.
Kolten's on his fourth year with the challenge and Keegan is back for his second year.
So far this year, they've raised $6,782 with a goal of $2,000.
Over the four years Kolten's been riding in the Great Cycle Challenge, he's raised $43,056.
They're also coming close to this year's goal of 300 km peddled, with 239.3 km so far.
Their mother Tasha Davis says, as always, the support has been overwhelming.
"We're so grateful for all of the support. It's amazing that something from our family has turned into this amazing group effort fundraiser, it's mindblowing."
Like last year, they're dedicating this year's ride to Kolton Byerley, an Okotoks teen diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2022 who's been receiving treatment since then.
"He is such an inspiration to us all. Even though he's going through his toughest battles, he still smiles. We are just grateful for everything he has brought to the table and his strength," says Tasha.
Part of their annual tradition is a ride from the Okotoks Recreation Centre to the Big Dipper Ice Cream Shop along with a procession of bikers from the anti-bullying non-profit Bikers Are Buddies.
They kept the tradition alive this year and were joined by members of the Byerley family as well as members of Okotoks RCMP and Okotoks Fire & Rescue.
