Alberta public libraries are experiencing an issue with their TRAC program.

It's the program that allows all Alberta library users to log in and check out books or put them on hold.

High River and Okotoks are both affected with the libraries sending out social media notices alerting the public.

The Okotoks Public Library Facebook page states "TRAC is experiencing an issue with their web servers. This has led to all internet-based services being down or not working properly. That includes LEAP, tracpac, EResources, and most services that require barcode and PIN authentication to access."

If you do need to use their services, they ask that you just give them a call at 403-652-2917 in High River and 403-938-2220.
