The Okotoks Dawgs are back in full swing after winning their first two games and hosting opening day which one of the many key dates for the Dawgs.

Opening day was sweet for many reasons, the season started back up, the quest for the three-peat began, Dawgs fans back in their element and they came away with a huge 11-0 victory over the Brooks Bombers.

William Gardner, VP of Promotions explains other key dates that they foresee sellout crowds at.

"Father's Day June 16th. Canada Day of course, the place to be in the Foothills is Seaman Stadium for Canada Day. Fan Appreciation Day August 3rd, and we will end the season on August the 4th with our annual Breast Cancer event," Gardner said.

Since the start of the Breast Cancer event, the Dawgs have raised a total of $550,000.

"We also want to touch on the All-Star game. The Western Canadian Baseball League All-Star game will be here Saturday July the 20th where we again are privileged to host that. It's always a sellout, we burst at the seams every All-Star game." he said.

2023 saw the Dawgs had record attendance during the season, earning the number one spot across Canada for summer collegiate attendance and number three across North America.
