Former Okotoks Oiler and current Edmonton Oiler, Dylan Holloway is off to his first Stanley Cup final and the first for the Oilers since 2006. Oilers weren't able to claim Lord Stanley's Cup in 2006 when they fell to the Carolina Hurricanes in seven games.

Holloway has played a role in helping the Oilers reach the finals after posting three goals and an assist in 18 playoff games so far.

Edmonton earned a berth into the finals after beating the LA Kings in five games, then the Vancouver Canucks in seven games, followed by beating Dallas in six games in the Western Conference Final.

Former Calgary Flames, Matthew Tkachuk and Sam Bennett will be in the finals with the Florida Panthers, including former Flame Paul Reinhart's son Sam who will also be in the finals with the "Cats".

This is the second year in a row that the Panthers have made the Stanley Cup finals while for the Oilers it's been nearly two decades.

Game one between the Panthers and Oilers will be played on Saturday (June 8) with a puck drop of 6:00 pm in Sunrise, Florida. Oilers' first home game of the series will be in game three on June 13 at 6:00 pm.
