The 64th annual Little Britches parade will be ready to delight parade watchers this Saturday morning starting at 10:00.

The theme this year is saluting local healthcare and volunteers caring for our community.

And the organizers of the parade, High River's Rotary Club, could use your co-operation regarding the parking in downtown High River.

Downtown High River will be closed off to traffic and parking starting at 8:30 a.m. and it'll last until 3:00 p.m.

Parking is usually just wherever you can find it, but many people walk down to avoid any congestion and the weather could be one of the nicest ever. 

The forecast for High River on Saturday is sunny and 29.

There will also be a lot of other activities going on including the Inclusion Foothills Spring Market in the Highwood Centre.

The Spring Market will be open from 9:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. 

Inclusion Foothills is hosting their Spring MarketWith over 80 vendors setting up for the Spring Market.

Food trucks and live entertainment will be happening at The Venue and along 5th Avenue SW with the famous Beef on a Bun served up in George Lane Park by the Highwood Lions Club from 11:30 a.m. till 1:30 p.m. 

And the spectacular 'Battle of the Bands' takes place in George Lane Park at noon.  The marching bands from the parade will perform some special versions for the hundreds of people that take it in.

Something new this year is a Show 'n Shine from 9:30 a.m. till 3:00 p.m. on 3rd and 4th Avenue SW that the River City Classics car club is hosting along with a Pontiac car club from Calgary. 

Don't forget the Little Britches Rodeo is also going on and that gets underway at the same of the parade at 10:00 a.m.
