The Carstar Okotoks Bisons and the High River Brewing Co. Flyers are hosting a pair of games each this weekend.

The Bisons welcome the Coaldale Copperheads to the Murray arena Friday night while the Strathmore Wheatland Kings pay a visit to the Bob Snodgrass Rec Plex in High River. Both games get underway at 8:00 p.m.

Both teams have home games lined up for Saturday night too. And Flyers fans will be able to see the team wearing their new jerseys.

The Flyers take on the Rocky Rams on Saturday at 8 p.m. It should be a close game, with the Rams beating the Flyers 6-5 the last time they met. Flyers fans will likely be keeping their eyes on rookie Connor Smith (#7) who's leading the HJHL in goals with 12, and he's tied for first in points with 22.

The Bisons then have a slightly later start on Saturday as they host the Three Hills Thrashers at 8:30 p.m., once again at the Murray Arena. It'll be the first time the Bisons take on both the Thrashers and the Copperheads in the regular season.
