Albertans are being asked for feedback on the municipal election process and accountability for elected officials.

The UCP governments posted two surveys on the Local Authorities Elections Act and the Municipal Government Act.

There are questions around vouching for other electors, advance polls, special ballots, whether political parties should be listed on municipal ballots and under what circumstances an election should be postponed.

On accountability, respondents are asked their opinions on recall legislation, conflicts of interest and the reasons for "in camera" meetings.

The survey is open until Dec. 6, 2023.
