Get ready to deck yourself out in warm clothes and top up the hot cocoa.

The Town of Okotoks is bringing back the popular Christmas Light Tour. A chance for residents to show off their home's holiday light displays as well putting themselves in the running for the title of the best display in Okotoks.

Residents can submit their houses on the towns website.

After the submissions are complete, a map of all the light displays will be relised creating the Okotoks Christmas Light Tour. 

Rules and information:

  • Submissions will be accepted until Midnight, December 14
  • Lights and/or displays need to be on by 6pm, December 16
  • Contest judging will take place on December 18
  • Photos must be taken in the Okotoks area
  • There is no limit on the number of submissions by a single entrant
  • Participation in the Contest constitutes Entrants’ full and unconditional agreement to abide by the Contest Rules and Regulations, and the final decisions in all matters related to the contest.
  • Photos must be high resolution (2-25MB). A high-resolution, colour (RGB) version of each photo must be submitted (uncompressed TIFF or maximum quality JPEG).
