Oh ZOOM...
We love ZOOM but its rise of popularity was the result of the pandemic and well... THAT, [the covid 19 pandemic] can retire from sight anytime. *Sigh*

However, ZOOM has allowed us to connect from home to anyone at any time. This makes for some pretty amazing conversations.

The Okotoks Public Library (OPL) is having a ZOOM meetup for you and your little ones to take part in with the amazing and wonderful Children's Author Holly Webb. She will be ZOOM-ing in all the way from her home in England!

From the OPL Facebook page. With over 130 books written, Webb is an accomplished children's author whose works have been translated into 31 languages. You may recognize Sam the Stolen Puppy, Ginger the Stray Kitten, Harry the Homeless Puppy.

This is a part of the "Friends of Jeff Series" put on by the OPL. Jeff Blumer, the Juvenile Services Coordinator is excited to have her join them.

"We're really lucky to have her. She's a very nice woman. She has a passion for children and for animals, and that reflects in her writing. She'll be reading a couple of chapters from some of our books, answering questions, giving a little bit about her back story. I know we're just we're really lucky to have her."

The event kicks off Thursday, November 25th at 4 p.m. and will run for around 45 minutes.
