Okotoks produces some top quality athletes y'all!

And now added to the elite list are Maryn Boldon and Kylee Glanville.

These two grade 12 students were recently selected for Volleyball Canada's National Excellence Program (NEP), a program that prepares high school students with a foundation for professional play and future athletic programs including the National Senior Team.

So basically...prepares them to compete in the highest of levels within their sport, including, the Olympics.

You could be seeing these two in LA 2028, representing Canada in the summer games. (Chills, right?)

We talked about everything from what it was like to be selected for NEP, how is it living in Vancouver, goals for their game and they even shared some tips with this ole' volleyball has been! 😉 😂

Check it out:

Best of luck to the girls while they work on their craft and compete while participating in the program!

Can't wait to see what's in store for their future =)

Also! The girls have been competing in Mexico over the last week in the Girls' U18 Worlds. It's been a tough competition but they're back in action this morning, (Sept. 29), to take on Puerto Rico.

You can watch it live HERE. To recap their other games within the U18 Worlds competition click HERE.
