Two vehicle collision on Highway 2 east of Okotoks

A two-vehicle collision is causing backups on Highway 2 east of Okotoks.

The vehicles collided at the intersection of Highway 2 and 370 Ave, and fire personnel, several ambulances and RCMP are on scene.

Cst. Candace Harris with Okotoks RCMP confirms there were minor injuries and the collision was non-criminal in nature.

Each vehicle was only occupied by the driver.

Southbound Highway 2 is down to one lane, and vehicles approaching from 370 Ave are being turned around.
