May The 4th Be With You!
It's National Star Wars day! Now I love the Star Wars franchise, I really do. It's 1 of only 3 sets of movies that I grew up wioth that you could spend an entire day watching.
BUT, today's not just for Jedi's!
It's also for the Lizzie McGuire-sies! Another show I absolutely LOVED. (I know, I had a very eclectic taste in television, lol.)
The show "Lizzie McGuire" turns 17 years old today! Man....that makes me feel old.
It's also National Paranormal Day! - Okotoks Culture & Heritage have a ghost that lives in the Art Gallery (that freaks me RIGHT OUT) & they do ghost tours every summer and halloween so you can meet the ghost!
Some other notable things that happened on May 4th are:
May 4th, 1959: The first ever GRAMMY was given out! Not just given to anyone though, Given to Etta James, Henry Mancini & Frank Sinatra!
May 4th, 1929: Audrey Hepburn was born!
May 4th, 1953: Ernest Hemingway wins his first Pulitzer Prize!
See? The world really is a fantastic place. For more info on Okotoks' Heritage, visit them on Instagram HERE.
What are you celebrating today?
