RCMP in Alberta were busy over the long weekend.
They issued 2,317 traffic tickets between August 4 and 7.
Of those, 1,195 tickets were issued for speeding, 69 tickets were issued for seatbelt violations, and 38 were issued for distracted driving.
They also charged 83 impaired drivers.
The long weekend also saw four fatalities from vehicle collisions.
