The AJHL Okotoks Oilers picked up another two points over the weekend with a big win over the Spruce Grove Saints on Saturday night.

The Oilers ended up shutting them out 2-0 with netminder Christian Green getting his first AJHL shutout after stopping all 24 shots.

It was the Oilers fourth straight road win after a five-game homestand that included a 5-2 loss on Friday night against the Brooks Bandits.

The green and white now rest for a day and then get set to host the Camrose Kodiaks Tuesday night at the Centennial Arena.

And break out the ugly Christmas sweater for Tuesday night's contest as it's Ugly Christmas Sweater Jersey Night. The Oilers will be wearing special one-time Ugly Christmas Jerseys which will be auctioned off after the game.
