No surprise in Okotoks this weekend with the Bisons keeping their win streak alive.

They faced off against the Kainai Junior Braves Sunday afternoon in the Bisons lone game of the weekend.

The final score was 8-2 in favour of Okotoks as they stretch their record to 27-2-1.

And the High River Flyers are flying high these days as well with three consecutive wins.

And Hunter McInenly earned a 39 save shutout to do it.

The Flyers scored early and kept it up for the 5-0 win over the Strathmore Wheatland Kings on Friday night at the Bob Snodgrass arena.

Goals came from Bridger Atkinson, Easton Weasel Head, Flynn O'Neil, Grady Bakken and Daniel Pare.

They have a rematch back in High River coming up this Friday Jan. 21.  Puck drop at 8 o'clock.
