You'll be able to see the full moon and stars twinkling as a movie and country fair play at the Millarville Race Track September 29th.

The Millarville School is having a "Movie under the Stars" fundraiser.

Volunteer, Susan Deike says "We are fundraising for a bunch of improvements on the school, we're hoping to build on the Outdoor Pursuits program, it's going to go to more computers, and other things like that."

It starts at 5:30 pm with a country carnival before the movie starts.

The movie is going to start at sundown on a giant screen.

They are having three legged races, pie eating contest, popcorn, sack races, horse-draw wagon rides, and an exhibition of jumping bunnies.

Everything is going to be outside.

There will also be a bucket raffle, with a chance to win a ride in a glider with the Cu Nim Gliding Club, a horseback adventure with Moose Mountain, some lovely locally-made jewellery and more.

They have two items being sold on ebay until September 30th, that are fundraising for the school.

One of these is a set visit to the Millarville location of CBC's award-winning TV show, Heartland.

This is for four people to visit with the cast and crew.

The other ebay item is you will get to experience an authentic cattle branding at the Black Diamond and Cattle Company, thanks to Rob and Ruth Peters.

The movie night also has food and door prizes available.

You can camp at the Millarville Race Track.

Admission to this fundraiser is by donation at the Millarville Race Track Gate.

Deike says, "It's going to be a lot of fun."
