'Twas three weeks till Christmas and all through the town all the creatures were stirring to see Santa!

High River held their 29th annual Santa Claus parade on Friday night. The streets of the town were bright and glowing with not only beautiful christmas lights, but also the big smiles of children and adults of all ages.

The nights fesitivites kicked off with the second annual Light Up George Lane Park, followed by the parade. The line-up included over 60 floats representing the businesses and community supporters that make up High River. Jolly christmas music got the people dancing, kids were collecting candy, hot chocolate was being consumed, and many waves and Merry Christmas's were exchanged throughout the night.

The end of the parade was not the end of the evening. The shops in town stayed open late, and the craft market was in full swing, so that attendees could check off a few of those wish list items.

The High River Santa Claus parade was a great night of Christmas cheer, and a great way to get into the spirit of the season!
