The Rotary Clubs of High River and Okotoks are partnering with Inclusion Foothills in the job market.

Orvella Small says Rotary members are helping clients with developmental disabilities gain employment.

"We're partnering together to address inclusive employment through Rotary, it's a different way of looking at employment for people with developmental disabilities.

"Rotarians help make connections, they are the developers of employment which is a different way of doing it from your typical method of finding employment," she says.

Small says they already have their first successful employment story and have another five or six candidates coming up.

Rotary Club members are making the connections, another way for them to be involved in the community in a quieter way but a way that will make a huge impact for the clients according to Orvella Small.
