Following Sunday's COVID-19 Situation Update, Alberta's total number has increased to 1651, with 82 new cases.

Four  new deaths have been confirmed; two at the McKenzie Towne continuing care facility in Calgary, and two at Manoir du Luc in the North zone. The total number of deaths has increased to 44.

Recovered cases have increased to 823.

According to the province's geospatial data, active cases in the "Okotoks-Priddis" area remain at eight, whereas cases in the "High River" area have increased to 44 active cases, 18 more than yesterday.

The provincial government has again reminded those in the Calgary zone (which includes most of the Foothills) that testing parameters have been expanded, allowing anyone in that zone to be tested if they are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 including cough, fever, runny nose, sore throat or shortness of breath.

Updates will again be provided via video conference starting tomorrow.
