Power outages have been reported across the Foothills.

According to the power outages map on the Fortis Alberta website a large area of downtown High River was affected at 8:54 p.m.

Outages happened shortly after at 9:01 p.m. in Blackie as well as outlying regions.

Power was only out for 10 to 15 minutes in parts of High River before coming back.

All other areas have also had their power returned.

It's not known what caused the outages.
