Pool A in the rodeo at the Calgary Stampede wrapped up Sunday.

There are three pools this year at the Stampede whereas in the past it's always been two pools.

After three days of rodeo action here's where the Canadians sit.

Bull Riding:

  • Dakota Buttar (Eatonia, Sask.) has only managed to stay on one bull on Sunday and was bucked off on Friday and Saturday for a lone score of 82.00 with $2,625.00 in day money.

Saddle Bronc:

  • Zeke Thurston (Big Valley, Alta.) is leading the way sitting in the #1 spot in the aggregate after three days with scores of 85.50, 85.00 and 86.50 and has won $15,500.00 in day money.

Bareback:

  • Clint Laye (Cadogan, Alta.) is sitting in 3rd in the aggregate with scores of 86.00, 83.50 and 82.50 with $11,375.00 earned in day money.

Tie Down Roping:

  • Beau Cooper (Stettler, Alta.) is also in 3rd in the aggregate with times of 8.5, a no-time and 7.2 seconds to scoop up $9,500.00 in day money.

Steer Wrestling:

  • Curtis Cassidy (Donalda, Alta.) is sitting in 9th out of 10 bulldoggers with times of 15.8, 7.4 and 13.6 and picking up $1,000.00 in day money.

Barrel Racing:

  • Brandi Whiteside (Longview, Alta.) is sitting in 10th out of 10 riders with times of 22.940, 17.760 and 17.490 to pick up $1,000.00 in day money.
  • Shelby Spielman (Ponoka, Alta.) is sitting in 9th with times of 18.030, 17.600 and 17.510 to win $4,083.33 in day money.

Pool B gets underway today, Monday, July 10 at 1:30 p.m.

The top four performers from each pool go to the finals on Showdown Sunday.
