Construction along Northridge drive is set to begin this week.

The pathways from Sandstone Gate to Banister Gate, and along Milligan Drive and Veterans Way will be linked, with the intention of providing more means of active transportation.

The work is part of phase one of the Northridge Drive Urbanization Project, and serves the town's Active Transportation Strategy.

According to the town's website, work on the project will comply with the town's noise bylaw, and crews will be making use of dust control measures.

Periodic traffic interruptions are expected, and signage will be in place during these times.

Work is expected to last two months.
