Nanton Palominos fans were treated to some great senior men's hockey over the weekend.

They just had to travel to Innisfail to do it.

The Pals had back-to-back games up in Innisfail this weekend with the Eagles hosting both games.

And it was quite the nailbiter on Saturday night as the winner was decided in a shootout.

The Eagles came out the victors 6-5 scoring twice in the shootout with the Pals only mustering one goal.

The five Palominos goals were scored by Jordan Kennedy, Brody Eisbrenner, Robbie McLean, Matt Turnbull and Joshua McCulloch.

And then Sunday afternoon they faced off again.

The Pals weren't able to score as often as the Eagles won 5-1 in the matinee.
