Alberta has hit another vaccination milestone.

As of Nov. 1, over 80 per cent of eligible Albertans are now fully vaccinated.

That's over 3.2 million people.

Over 87 per cent of eligible Albertans have received at least one dose.

It should be noted that the milestone only refers to Albertans aged 12 and older, with the full vaccination rate for the province's total population sitting at 67.9 per cent (as of Oct. 28).

Since the Restrictions Exemption Program was introduced on Sept. 15, around 264,000 Albertans received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccination, with 293,000 receiving their second dose.

As of Oct. 25, two doses and proof of vaccination are required to enter facilities participating in the REP.

Here are the local percentage rates of full vaccination for those 12 and up:

Okotoks-Priddis: 78.8
High River: 73.2
Black Diamond/Turner Valley: 69.9
Vulcan: 62.5
Claresholm: 71.2
