Okotoks swimmer Finlay Knox is already making his presence known at the 16th FINA World Swimming Championships in Melbourne, Australia.

He took the bronze in the Men's 200m Medley this morning.

With a time of 1:51.04, Knox came in just 0.08 seconds behind the USA's Carson Foster, and 0.89 seconds behind Matthew Sates of South Africa.

He'll also be competing in the Men's 100m Medley, 400m Medley, and 100m Butterfly in the coming days.

The 21-year-old former Okotoks Maverick took home a silver for the 400m medley and a bronze for the 200m Medley in November's FINA Swimming World Cup 2022 in the U.S.
