Crystal Ridge Drive was a sight to behold yesterday as residents gathered for the annual Soap Box Derby.

Hosted by the Rotary Club, the 30 year tradition serves as a major fundraising event, and long time community tradition.

Local kids raced down the Crystal Ridge hill in soap box cars of all shapes in sizes, many of which were sponsored by local businesses.

Numerous awards were handed out, including ones for creative designs and fastest times.

78 racers participated, with around 75 volunteers present and countless community members there to watch and support.

This year's faster racer was Keiran Habing, clocking in at 42km/hr.
