Okotoks Oilers: Two out of three ain't bad

The Okotoks Oilers had a three-games-in-three-days road trip over the weekend.

The Whitecourt Wolverines got the best of the team on Friday night with a 4-2 score, but the Oilers weathered the Storm in Grande Prairie.

They slipped past them 2-1 on Saturday night and then served up a 4-0 shutout yesterday afternoon.

Mikael Kingo registered his first AJHL shutout too stopping 16 shots in the process.

Jagger Tapper also notched a pair of goals in the win.

The team now is off for the holidays returning to action on Friday December 29 when they host the Olds Grizzlies.
