The Okotoks Oilers lost a pair of games over the weekend, one at home and one on the road.

The Sherwood Park Crusaders cruised to a 6-2 win on Friday night in Okotoks and then the Oilers headed to Brooks for a game on Family Day Monday.

And it was the Brooks Bandits skating away with a 6-3 win in front of a packing rink with over 1,700 fans in attendance.

Oilers' Dean Spak lead the team with a goal and two assists in the loss.

The Oilers have struggled since joining the BCHL along with Brooks, Sherwood Park, Spruce Grove and Blackfalds and now prepare for a pair of road games this upcoming weekend.

They head to Sherwood Park this Friday night and then tangle with Spruce Grove on Saturday.

Both games can be heard live on the Eagle 100.9 or streamed at Okotoks Online or you can download the free mobile app and listen anywhere.
