Not a great showing in front of a friendly crowd Tuesday afternoon as the Okotoks Oilers fell 9-2 to the Brooks Bandits.

It was the Second Annual Hockey Game for Mental Health put on by the Oilers, Foothills School Division and Minds Matter.

Okotoks' Sam Huck opened the scoring five minutes into the first period but Brooks stormed back with four straight before Jackson Rowland scored to make it look a little closer.

After that, Brooks added five more markers to make the final 9-2.

With about four-and-a-half minutes left in the game, a pair of Oilers and one Brooks player got misconducts while another Oiler got two for roughing.

They weren't done there as more misconducts were handed out with about 30 seconds left in the game.

Next up for the Oilers is the Sherwood Park Crusaders this Friday night at the Centennial Arena.
