Okotoks high schools battle for a chance at provincial football supremacy

Okotoks schools will be front and centre at the Provincial South Finals for high school football.

First up in Tier II, the Holy Trinity Academy Knights take on the Cochrane Cobras.

Both teams scored decisive wins last weekend in the South Semi-Finals to advance.

HTA beat Medicine Hat 51-12 while Cochrane blanked Bishop Carroll 44-0.

The Tier II South Final starts at noon at Shouldice Park.

Right after that, at 3:00 o'clock, also at Shouldice Park, the Foothills Composite Falcons battle L.C.I. out of Lethbridge in the Tier I South Final.

L.C.I. got by the Falcons 14-9 in October so the Falcons are looking for a measure of revenge as well as a trip to the provincial championship game.
